Technology Leader- IMEA

Key Responsibilities:As a Technology leader, you will own and evolve IMEA technology roadmap aligned with global strategy. You will lead and drive Innovations for the business for IMEA region and coordinate globally with both technology and business leaders to drive growth and profitability. You will develop CPVC products relevant for India, the Middle East, and Africa markets in pipe, fire protection, and industrial segments. Coordinate with Manufacturing, Process Technology, Product Management, and Procurement optimizing our raw material strategy and implementation to drive efficiency, profitability, and growth. Actively engage with customers for specification and technical service activities to drive growth. In alignment with business strategy, develop new emerging applications from concept to launch. You will develop and foster close co-ordination with customer technical teams to understand market trends and corresponding customer expectations, driving specification and new product development.Understand various industry standards and work with regional standard setting bodies to drive industry growth and safety As a Technology Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient laboratory operations within the CPVC research and development facility in the region. Your role will be crucial in driving innovation, optimizing lab processes, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Requirements (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements): Ph.D. in Chemistry or Engineering (chemical or polymer) or M.S. in Chemistry or Engineering with significant industry experience. 5 years+ experience leading Innovation, Technology, or R&D teams in similar industry10 Year + experience in polymer industry (PVC/ CPVC preferred) or plastic piping industry Working expertise in engineering thermoplastics including injection molding, pipe/profile/sheet/foam extrusion, thermoplastic material characterization, mechanical testing, thermoplastic formulation, and thermoplastic piping (experience in PVC/CPVC preferred).Knowledge of relevant international and regional standards and approval agencies. Examples include ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials), BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), ISO (International Organization of Standardization),NSF.
