Job Title: SAP Business Systems Analyst / Tester – Record to Report (RTR)Experience: 8+ yearsLocation: IndiaWork Mode: RemoteRole OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented SAP BSA / Tester – Record to Report (RTR) to support finance transformation initiatives. This role will ensure financial process accuracy through robust testing, test automation using Tosca, regression optimization, and enhanced digital adoption capabilities across core RTR processes.Key ResponsibilitiesSAP Finance TestingReview and refine finance-related test scripts aligned to RTR business processesValidate end-to-end scenarios across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Close cyclesMaintain alignment with functional design, accounting standards, and compliance requirementsExecute SIT, UAT, and regression testing for RTR processesSupport defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution validationTest AutomationDesign and develop automated regression test suites using Tricentis Tosca and/or PanayaDrive automation strategy for RTR business scenarios including journal postings, reconciliations, and financial reportingMaintain and optimize automation coverage for finance processesImprove regression cycle efficiency and test reliability through automation best practicesDigital AdoptionDevelop guided walkthroughs for finance users using WhatfixConvert RTR process documentation into interactive workflowsSupport analytics to monitor user adoption, training effectiveness, and process adherenceFunctional Focus – Record to Report (RTR)General Ledger (GL) accounting and journal processingAccounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) integration with GLChart of Accounts setup and maintenanceCost accounting, allocations, and profitability analysisBank accounting and reconciliationsFixed Assets accountingFinancial reporting and complianceMonth-end and year-end close processesRequired Skills & ExperienceSAP Finance Expertise (RTR)Strong hands-on understanding of end-to-end RTR business processes in SAPExperience validating financial transactions, postings, and reporting cyclesAbility to translate accounting requirements into structured test scenariosTesting & AutomationStrong experience in functional, integration, and regression testingHands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca (preferred) and/or Panaya for test automationExperience in building reusable test components and automation frameworksPreferred ToolsTricentis Tosca, PanayaWhatfix / WalkMeCore CompetenciesStrong attention to detailFinance and accounting process mindsetAnalytical thinking with problem-solving abilityStrong collaboration and communication skillsEducationBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent SAP finance experience
