Sr. UI Engineer - React

Job OverviewWe are looking for a Senior UI Engineer with strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript to design and build modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in building reusable UI components, working closely with backend engineers and product teams, and delivering intuitive user experiences in an agile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop scalable, high-performance web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).Build reusable, modular UI components and maintain a consistent design system.Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features.Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and responsiveness across browsers and devices.Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best engineering practices.Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.Debug and resolve complex UI issues and improve application performance.Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving team development practices.Required Skills6+ years of experience in front-end development.Strong proficiency in React.js and TypeScript.Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API, Zustand, etc.).Familiarity with REST APIs and integration with backend services.Experience with component-based architecture and reusable UI libraries.Knowledge of Git-based version control systems.Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.Good to HaveExperience with Next.js or micro-frontend architecture.Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.Knowledge of performance optimization and accessibility standards.Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.Work ModelHybrid model – 3 days per week from the Pune office and 2 days remote.
