Experience Level:Mid-Level (3+ Years)Job Summary:We are seeking a Python Developer who is passionate about software development, system integration, and commissioning industrial vision systems (LIDAR). The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and deploying our Vision Systems across multiple international project sites, ensuring successful implementation within port automation environments.This role reports to the Head of Engineering and offers global exposure, cutting-edge technology experience, and hands-on project involvement in real-world automation systems.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain machine vision software using Python.Commission, test, and troubleshoot Vision Systems to meet operational standards.Collaborate with engineering teams for system integration and optimisation.Deploy and scale pilot projects across diverse cranes, control systems, and terminal setups.Provide on-site commissioning, support, and training for clients.Prepare technical documentation, reports, and feedback for continuous improvement.Work with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, control, and automation engineers) for smooth project delivery.Required Skills and Experience:Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in Python.Experience in computer vision, AI/ML, or industrial automation projects preferred.Ability to lead on-site commissioning and system testing independently.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in real-world industrial environments.Willingness to travel internationally for project commissioning and support.Excellent communication and teamwork skills for global collaboration.Desirable Skills (Added Advantage):Familiarity with Container Port Industry Operations and Crane Automation Systems.Experience with OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch frameworks.Knowledge of Docker, Git, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC-UA).Exposure to robotics, industrial cameras, or sensor integration projects.
