You will play a critical role in building secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems that power our financial services platform. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, regulated environment where reliability and security are paramount.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop backend services and APIs using Java (preferably Java 17+), with a focus on financial transaction processing, data integrity, and security.Build microservices architecture to support modular and scalable fintech applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, compliance, and security to deliver robust financial solutions.Implement and maintain integrations with payment gateways, banking APIs, and third-party financial services.Optimize performance for high-throughput and low-latency transaction systems.Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and maintain high code quality standards.Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring uptime and reliability.Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership within the team.Required Skills:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.5+ years of backend development experience using Java.Strong experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.Solid understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architecture.Experience with financial systems, payment processing, or banking integrations.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Proficient in relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).Knowledge of security best practices in fintech (encryption, authentication, authorization).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) for real-time data processing.Exposure to distributed systems and high-availability architectures.Contributions to fintech open-source projects.
