*Location: Pune (Work from Office)Shift Time: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM ISTTHE POSITION: We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong expertise in API testing, SQL, and test management tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in writing test cases, creating traceability matrices, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. Knowledge of Salesforce and patient journey processes is highly desirable.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for web and API applications.Perform API testing and validate data integrity using SQL queries.Utilize test management tools such as JIRA and ALM for defect tracking and reporting.Create and maintain traceability matrices to ensure coverage of requirements.Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure quality standards are met.Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.Participate in requirement analysis and provide QA estimates.Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and best practices. Develop documentation and provide user training as needed.All other duties as assigned.EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:Deliver high-quality test plans and scripts within agreed timelines.Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding test progress and issues.Proactively identify risks and suggest mitigation strategies.Uphold best practices in QA processes and automation frameworks.Always maintain confidentiality and integrity of data.Adhere to project timelines and quality standardsMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required. 3–5 years of experience as an SDET or QA Engineer.Strong knowledge of API testing and SQL.Hands-on experience with JIRA, ALM, and other test management tools.Ability to write comprehensive test cases and maintain traceability.Understanding of payer-provider-patient relationships and patient journey.Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements.Excellent communication and documentation skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline is a plus. Relevant certifications such as: ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board)Certified SDET or equivalent QA automation certificationsSalesforce Certification (if applicable)Healthcare Compliance Certification (HIPAA-related)
