Software Dev Staff Engineer - Firewall /Cyber Security - C/C++ - 6+ yrs

For more information, visit or follow us on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.Responsibilities:Design and develop scalable database solutions for complex engineering problemsWork collaboratively and cross functionally to build and support cloud and DevOps adoptionAble to rapidly develop prototypes to identify the best set of technologies and toolkits to use for new feature developmentCoordinate and be able to resolve issues across the entire stack - hardware, software, application, and networkReview entire environment and execute initiatives to reduce failures, and improve overall performanceRequirements: 6+ years of hands-on experience in C++ OR C programming and database technologies.Strong hands-on experience in cybersecurity, including firewall technologies.3+ year experience in SRE/DevOps.Strong foundation of Linux administration.Experience with AWS and its programming APIs (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, containers/ECS/EKS, lambda etc.).Programming skills in Python, Shell, and datacenter/AWS automation.Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).Experience with configuration management (Ansible).Education and Experience: At least 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 1 year experience; or equivalent experience preferred .Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.Familiarity with Agile Software Development Methodologies preferred.Experience with AWS infrastructure preferred.SonicWall is an equal opportunity employer.We are committed to creating a diverse environment and are an equal opportunity employer.
