What you'll do As a Senior Technical Scrum Master at DCX, you'll facilitate agile practices for the Experience Platform managed service delivery workstream across multiple clients, supporting Incident Management (IM), Business As Usual (BAU), and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborating closely with the DCX Account Director (UK), Service Delivery Manager (UK), and multidisciplinary teams, including designers, developers, and quality assurance specialists, you'll ensure effective collaboration and clear communication aligned with client objectives. Focusing on agile facilitation and continuous improvement, you'll significantly contribute to DCX’s growth, embodying our EPIC values: Excellence, Passion, Integrity, and Collaboration. Key Skills Agile Delivery & Technical Execution Navigate and balance the demands of multiple clients and concurrent workstreams, each with evolving and sometimes competing priorities. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, ensuring effective sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives. Maintain sprint backlogs with clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. Support release planning, ensuring team alignment on deployment timelines, testing, and integrations. Requirements Gathering and Scoping Proactively clarify requirements, ensuring stakeholder needs, user roles, and non-functional requirements are comprehensively addressed. Clearly define and break down tasks into manageable sizes, ensuring clarity and preventing loss of critical information. Sprint Commitments & Estimation Accuracy Guide teams in accurate estimations to ensure realistic sprint commitments. Leverage Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-down charts) for improved sprint planning. Foster accountability within teams, balancing feature development, bug fixes, and technical debt. User Story & Acceptance Criteria Management Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Development Leads to refine complex requirements into actionable, testable user stories. Ensure each user story meets the established Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) criteria before inclusion in sprint commitments. Create detailed and well-defined tickets, maintaining clarity, feasibility, and alignment with both business objectives and technical considerations. Impediment & Risk Management Identify and proactively resolve blockers for smooth sprint execution. Promote a culture of accountability and ownership within teams. Support conflict resolution and optimise Agile processes to maintain team productivity. Stakeholder and Client Relationship Management Facilitate backlog refinement sessions to prioritise and clarify work. Collaborate closely with Product Owners to remove impediments and align priorities. Ensure transparency and clear communication of progress, risks, and dependencies. Team Collaboration and Leadership Foster effective communication within multidisciplinary teams (designers, developers, strategists). Encourage continuous feedback loops and team-driven process improvements. Continuous Improvement & Agile Metrics Track and communicate Agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, performance indicators). Facilitate retrospectives to drive continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing. Promote peer learning and Agile best practices across teams. Technical and Digital Acumen Understand digital platforms, cloud infrastructure, API integrations, and DevOps methodologies. Familiarity with technical documentation, wireframes, and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). .............. Skills and Competencies Required: Strong organisational and time management capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders. Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making abilities. Proficiency with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Miro) and collaboration platforms (Slack, Teams). Essential requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly articulate technical and non-technical concepts to global stakeholders. Certified Scrum Master with practical experience in technical Agile environments. Experience working within digital agencies, consultancies, or fast-paced technology environments. Solid technical knowledge in web development, cloud platforms, API integrations, and DevOps. Proven ability to manage Agile delivery risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations. Desirable Experience Experience working in a digital agency, consultancy, or fast-paced technical environment.
