Job Description:
Our company's Fintech client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Privacy professional to oversee all aspects of privacy initiatives. You will play a critical role in ensuring the organization adheres to industry regulations, best practices, and internal policies while fostering privacy awareness among employees and stakeholders.Responsibilities:Support in identifying and maintaining a record of applicable data protection and privacy regulations in Taiwan, Singapore, Europe, China and other countries (where the organization has setup establishments or subsidiaries)Develop and implement data privacy policies and practices to support the Organisation’s privacy programPerform tasks identified by the DPO to drive, monitor and support the Organisation’s privacy programConduct Data Protection Impact Assessments for internal business processImplement cookie compliance program for the official websitePerform data sharing reviews in-line with the applicable regulations for internal and external data transfersManage Data Subject Rights (DSR)Develop and maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) for critical business processesCollaborate with supporting functions such as Legal, IT, other security teams and business functions to stay up to date with new processes and policiesProvide privacy training for all employees and contractorsQualification:Technical expertise in implementing privacy tools such as One Trust/Big ID Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferredProven experience in privacy rolesSound understanding of GDPR, Singapore’s PDPA and other data protection regulations in Asia Pacific regionStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to stay up-to-date with emerging trends and changes in the privacy landscapeProfessional certification such as CIPP/E, CIPP/A, CIPM etc., is preferred
