Role: Manager -DevOpsExp: 9+ YearsLocation: PuneWork Mode: HybridAbout the Role:We need senior DevOps SMEs who can embed in development teams to drive cultural change, educate advanced DevOps, and perform highly technical work on CI/CD adoption to the Market Stone CI/CD pipeline. The specific delivery for each application we target is to replatform to the Market Stone CI/CD pipeline platform at the end of the team rotation.Key Role and Responsibilities:- DevOps Transformation: Act as a change agent by embedding within development teams to guide and implement modern DevOps practices and DORA capabilities. - CI/CD Enablement: Lead the replatforming of legacy pipelines to the Market Stone CI/CD platform, ensuring full automation from code to production. - Technical Mentorship: Educate teams on trunk-based development, test automation, containerization, and other DevOps best practices. - Problem Solving: Address challenges such as monolithic architectures, outdated tech stacks, and cultural resistance to change. - Pipeline Implementation: Ensure successful integration of GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines with quality gates, compliance checks, and automated deployment workflows. - Team Upliftment: Empower teams to independently manage their DevOps lifecycle post-engagement, avoiding dependency on the embedded engineer. - Success Metrics: Drive teams to achieve their first production release via the Market Stone pipeline as a key milestone before transitioning to the next team.Must Have:- 7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering with a strong focus on CI/CD transformation. - Deep expertise in tools and technologies such as: - CI/CD & SCM: GitHub, Jenkins, TeamCity, Gradle - Languages: Rust, .NET, Java, Python, TypeScript - Infrastructure & Automation: Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Conda - Strong understanding of DORA metrics and their practical implementation. - Proven experience in modernizing legacy systems and driving cultural change in engineering teams. - Ability to work in complex environments with technical debt and legacy constraints.Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experienceKey Skills: DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Rust and GitHub, building & deploying releases, containerizing, automated testing, knowledge of existing DORA capabilities
