Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovativeTechnical Lead – Embedded Systemswith strong expertise in system engineering to lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge embedded solutions. In this role, you will drive system-level design, oversee a team of engineers, and ensure seamless integration between hardware and software components. Your leadership and technical acumen will be pivotal in delivering high-quality embedded products.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management: • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of embedded software and hardware engineers. • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance engineering culture. • Work closely with Project / Program Manager to achieve project objectives • Define team goals and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.System Engineering & Technical Expertise: • Define system requirements and specifications in collaboration with stakeholders. • Perform trade-off analysis to optimize performance, power, and cost. • Ensure seamless interaction between hardware components, firmware, and application layers. • Conduct system-level testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure robust performance. • Prepare requirement to design compliance statements and documents as per DO254, DO178, DDPMAS and IMTAR standards • Coordinate with customers, certification agencies and quality agencies for finalization of artefactsSystem Engineering & Technical Expertise: • Define system requirements and specifications in collaboration with stakeholders. • Perform trade-off analysis to optimize performance, power, and cost. • Ensure seamless interaction between hardware components, firmware, and application layers. • Conduct system-level testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure robust performance. • Prepare requirement to design compliance statements and documents as per DO254, DO178, DDPMAS and IMTAR standards • Coordinate with customers, certification agencies and quality agencies for finalization of artefactsEmbedded Development: • Design, and implement embedded systems, including firmware and low-level software. • Utilize programming expertise in C and system-level programming for efficient and reliable implementations. • Debug and resolve complex system and integration issues. • Ensure compliance with real-time constraints and performance targets.Project Management: • Break down requirements into tasks and activities for team members • Help PM assess timelines and milestones to ensure on-time delivery. • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between hardware, firmware, and software teams.Quality Assurance & Compliance: • Establish and enforce best practices for system engineering, coding, and testing. • Ensure solutions meet relevant industry standards and certifications. • Drive documentation and version control for system designs and processes.Continuous Improvement: • Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance system capabilities. • Implement innovative techniques to streamline engineering workflows.Qualifications Required: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering Computer Science, or a related field. • 10+ years of experience in embedded systems and system engineering, with at least 1 year in a lead role. • Strong proficiency in C programming and system-level programming. • Deep understanding of microcontrollers, processors, and peripheral interfaces (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, RS232, RF422, Ethernet). • Experience with hardware-software integration and system debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.). • Knowledge of real-time systems, RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS), and bare-metal programming. • Proven experience in defining system requirements and creating technical documentation. • Strong track record of delivering complex embedded projects on time and within budget.Preferred: • Experience with hardware design and circuit design tools. • Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., ISO 26262, MISRA). • Knowledge of system performance optimization techniques. • Exposure to safety-critical or high-reliability system development.Key Competencies: • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities. • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively. • A proactive approach to mentoring and fostering team growth.Why Join Us? • Opportunity to lead complex and innovative embedded projects. • Work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
