About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and certified Senior DuckCreek Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DuckCreek Technologies products and extensive hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing DuckCreek solutions. You will play a critical role in customizing and enhancing our insurance software platform to meet business requirements, improve system performance, and deliver innovative solutions.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy DuckCreek modules including Policy, Billing, and Claims based on business requirements. - Lead the customization and configuration of DuckCreek software to optimize functionality and enhance user experience. - Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and cross-functional teams. - Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Participate in solution architecture discussions and contribute to the overall technology roadmap. - Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and DuckCreek platform guidelines. - Manage multiple development projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project schedules. - Work closely with QA teams to define testing strategies and ensure defect-free releases. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of DuckCreek product updates, certifications, and industry trends.Required Qualifications- Proven experience (typically 6+ years) working as a DuckCreek Developer, with hands-on expertise in Duck Creek Policy, Billing, and/or Claims modules. - DuckCreek Developer Certification is mandatory. - Strong programming skills in relevant languages and technologies (e.g., C#, .NET, SQL, XML, JavaScript). - Experience with DuckCreek Studio, Workflow, Business Rules, and Product Designer tools. - Solid understanding of insurance domain concepts, policy lifecycle, and underwriting processes. - Experience with integration technologies such as web services, REST APIs, and SOA. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. - Ability to lead and mentor development teams effectively.Preferred Qualifications- Additional certifications in DuckCreek or related insurance technologies. - Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure). - Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with database management and performance optimization.
