Job Title:Cloud Security Engineer Location:Pune, IndiaJob Summary We are seeking a skilled and proactiveCloud Security Engineerto join our team and lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure cloud environments, primarily within AWS. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with AWS security tools and practices, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for protecting systems and data from ever-evolving threats.Key Responsibilities Security Strategy & Architecture: Develop, implement, and continuously refine cloud security strategies, standards, and best practices tailored to AWS environments. Cloud Security Tools: Leverage AWS native tools such asSecurity Hub ,Inspector ,GuardDuty , and other services to monitor and improve security posture. Threat Detection & Response: Detect, analyze, and respond to security threats and incidents using tools likeWazuhand other SIEM platforms. Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and frameworks, includingGDPR ,ISO 27001 , and internal security policies. Risk Management: Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to proactively identify and mitigate risks. Incident Management: Lead response efforts during security events, including investigation, containment, remediation, and root cause analysis. Automation & Efficiency: Design and implement automation for security operations to enhance efficiency and consistency across processes. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with DevOps, IT, and Engineering teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and day-to-day operations. Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of security architectures, incident response procedures, and security policies. Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver security training sessions and awareness campaigns to foster a security-first culture across the organizationQualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline. Relevant certifications (e.g.,AWS Certified Security Specialty ,CCSP ,CISSP ) are highly desirable.Experience: 4–6 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud security, including use of services like Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, and Wazuh. Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud security best practices, network security, encryption, IAM, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) security. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset and ability to manage complex security scenarios. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to translate complex security topics for technical and non-technical audiences. Team-Oriented: Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.Why Join Us?
