Senior Software Engineer in Test

Looking for a SDET with 7+ years of relevant experience. Primary Skills: Automation Testing, Postman, RestAssured, Junit, TestNG Secondary Skills: CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS Responsibilities Work in a hybrid model, focusing on functional testing and end-to-end automation. Proficient in API automation (Postman, RestAssured, etc.). Create automation test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. Develop and own test plans, tooling, and integration aligned with product development. Automate non-prod test data setup to reduce Dev testing efforts. Document, communicate, and prioritize bugs across stakeholders. Perform functional and automation testing within agile sprint cycles. Improve code quality with reusable components, organized tests, and refactoring. Conduct peer reviews of automation tests. Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to uphold quality standards. Communicate delivery risks effectively with actionable resolutions. Maintain quality metrics and dashboards for reporting to management. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field. 7+ years of experience in backend/API automation (Postman, RestAssured, etc.). Strong in Java-based test writing for REST APIs and web services (JUnit, TestNG). Hands-on with Performance Testing tools (JMeter / BlazeMeter). Proficient in at least one programming language (Java, Python, etc.). Familiar with Git-based repositories (GitHub/GitLab). Experience integrating frameworks with CI/CD tools (Jenkins). Ability to build scalable testing infrastructure for parallel execution. Experience with application migrations using automation-driven validation (plus). Knowledge of Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or distributed databases (plus). Hands-on with at least one cloud platform, preferably AWS (plus).
