Role Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Azure DevOps & Cloud Governance Specialist with 6–8 years of experience to join our technology team. This multifaceted role demands expertise in Azure DevOps setup and administration, a solid understanding of software quality processes and SDLC governance, and hands-on knowledge of Azure platform provisioning and cost management. The ideal candidate is a mature, driven professional with strong communication skills, who thrives in cross-functional environments and is capable of enforcing standards and discipline across teams. Job Title: Azure Devops Cloud Governance Total Experinece:6-8 Years Location: Pune Notice Period: Immediate-30 Days Roles & Responsibilities: Azure DevOps Governance: •Lead the setup, configuration, and administration of Azure DevOps across development projects. •Define, maintain, and enforce DevOps best practices, branching strategies, pipeline standards, and security protocols. •Act as a gatekeeper ensuring adherence to CI/CD pipeline usage, code review, and artifact management processes. SDLC & Quality Process Enablement •Ensure end-to-end traceability and compliance across the software development lifecycle. •Work with development and QA teams to integrate toolsets (e.g., test management, static code analysis, documentation tools) into the SDLC. •Monitor documentation hygiene—validate that design, test, and deployment artifacts are correctly created, reviewed, and version-controlled. •Support internal/external audits and process compliance assessments. Azure Cloud Platform Expertise: •Support development teams in provisioning Azure PaaS and IaaS services like Logic Apps, App Services, Caching, Function Apps, etc. •Evaluate service options based on technical fit and cost, providing TCO estimates and tracking ongoing cloud usage and budgets. •Recommend optimization strategies for performance and cost-efficiency of deployed services. •Coordinate with enterprise architects and cloud security teams for governance and provisioning workflows. Key Skills & Experience Required: •4+ years of hands-on Azure DevOps experience (Boards, Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Test Plans). •Experience implementing and scaling DevOps practices across teams. •Strong understanding of SDLC phases, documentation control, and quality checkpoints. •Hands-on experience in Azure PaaS and IaaS provisioning and management (ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, or portal-based provisioning). •Ability to estimate and track cloud usage costs using Azure Cost Management or similar tools. Good to Have: •Exposure to tools in the Develops ecosystem (e.g., SonarQube, Checkmarx, JIRA, Confluence). •Familiarity with compliance and audit frameworks (ISO, SOC2, etc.). •Scripting knowledge in PowerShell or Azure CLI . •Knowledge of ITIL/Agile/DevOps frameworks. Personal Attributes: •Strong communication skills in English and Hindi. •Team player with the ability to work across functional teams (Dev, QA, Infra, Cloud, PMO).
