WHAT TO EXPECTGlobal Warranty Operations is responsible for the correct administration, processing and payment of claims from worldwide Jaguar and Land Rover retailers and importers.The function creates and provides Warranty Compliance & Procedures, which integrate with the claim submission and enquiry systems. Targeted claim assessment gives the flexibility to tactically select warranty claims so as to support key work streams and deliver commercial effectiveness.The department interfaces with retailers, National Sales Companies, export markets and Regional Offices to support the accurate and timely processing of warranty and goodwill claims.Through interrogation of data, Warranty Operations supports PD, the Quality Office, and other internal groups in investigating warranty costs in order to ensure control.Working as part of a team, in this role you’ll:- Use your technical knowledge to assess warranty claims that have been submitted to JLR and selected for review - Assess appealed warranty claims which have previously been paid or rejected - Co-ordinate with National Sales Companies / Importers with regards to Warranty claim issues - When reviewing claims, you will need to identify and highlight any issues with business rules that require investigation or are required to be created by the UK team - Participate in regular meetings with primary assessment team to monitor performance - Assist in a number of additional functions, such as Quality Checks, Service Maintenance Plan administration and No Material Return technical reviewWHAT YOU’LL NEED- We are seeking professionals with 3 to 15 years of experience.(multiple openings for Claims Assessors across entry-level to senior positions) - Process orientated with great attention to detail - Able to manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines - Able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and working instructions - Clear and effective communication for assessing claims and for contacting markets - Team player - Minimum Level 2/Level 3 Technician with 3 to 5 years’ European automotive experience - Technically competent with clear understanding of vehicle diagnosis and repair on both mechanical and electrical vehicle systems. - Understanding of PHEV/HEV/BEV system diagnosis and repair desirable - Ability to read and understand vehicle wiring diagrams and understanding of vehicle communication networks desirable - JLR product knowledge and experience desirable - Knowledge of Warranty process would be advantageous - Microsoft Office skills are essential.
