DGM – HR Operations & HR Technology (Min 15 years of experience + MBA in HR)Location: Mumbai (Goregaon East)Reporting To: CHROCoverage: Waaree Energies & All Group Companies of WaareeIncumbent with GCC expertise will be preferredRole PurposeThe Head – HR Operations & HR Technology will lead and own the entire HR operations, payroll, HR technology, and employee lifecycle management for Waaree Group. This role is critical in ensuring accuracy, compliance, scalability, and operational excellence across payroll, benefits, HR systems, policies, audits, and employee transactions for a large and growing workforce.The incumbent will manage multiple teams, interface directly with senior stakeholders (CFO, Finance Controller, CHRO), and ensure seamless HR service delivery across locations and group entities with a “Get-It-Done” mindset, high ownership, and calm leadership style.Key Responsibilities1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle ManagementOwn end-to-end HR operations across the employee lifecycle: onboarding, documentation, confirmation, transfers, role changes, separations, and exit management.Ensure standardized, compliant, and efficient HR processes across all group companies.Manage HR operations for both local and remote teams, ensuring consistency and responsiveness.Drive process improvement, automation, and simplification initiatives to improve employee experience.2. Payroll, Compensation & Benefits ManagementLead end-to-end payroll operations for large workforce (3000–4000+ employees), ensuring 100% accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.Hands-on expertise in:Variable pay computation linked to performance ratingsAnnual salary increments & revision cyclesSales incentive calculations & disbursementsPro-rata salary calculations, arrears processing, and adjustmentsEnsure seamless coordination between HR, Finance, and payroll vendors.Manage salary taxation, TDS, Form 16, and employee tax queries.3. Statutory Compliance, Audits & Retiral BenefitsEnsure compliance with all statutory requirements: PF, Gratuity, ESIC, PT, LWF, etc.Act as the primary HR SPOC for:Statutory auditsConcurrent auditsInternal auditsCoordinate with retiral benefit consultants for PF, Gratuity, Superannuation, etc.Ensure accurate data, documentation, and timely closure of audit observations.4. HR Technology & Systems (SAP / SuccessFactors)Own and drive HR technology landscape including:SAP HCMSuccessFactors modules (Employee Central, Performance, Compensation, etc.)Ensure system accuracy, data integrity, integrations, and user adoption.Partner with IT and external vendors for:EnhancementsNew module implementationsAutomation initiativesTranslate HR process needs into system requirements and configurations.5. Policies, Governance & DocumentationDraft, review, implement, and continuously improve:HR policiesEmployee handbookProcess guidelines & SOPsEnsure all policies are legally compliant, business-aligned, and consistently applied across group companies.Provide expert guidance on policy interpretation and application in complex employee cases.6. Team Leadership & Capability BuildingLead and manage three distinct teams:Payroll & Reimbursements TeamHR Technology TeamHR Operations & Onboarding TeamSet clear KRAs, review performance, coach team members, and build strong second-line leadership.Create a culture of ownership, accuracy, service orientation, and continuous improvement.7.
