Technical Superintendent

Our client is a well-established international shipping organization with a strong global presence. As part of their ongoing growth and expansion, they are looking to hire a Technical Superintendent to oversee the technical management of dry vessels within a high-performance and quality-driven environment.Technical Superintendent(Based in Singapore)ORGANIZATION:You will be in-charge of managing the technical and operational performance of 3-4 dry ships. Your key role is to ensure safe and efficient operations of the company’s vessels, their routine and preventive maintenance, and that all international marine requirements are complied with.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee the technical management of assigned vessels (dry fleet)Provide technical support to vessels and attend to emergencies as requiredEnsure vessels are maintained in compliance with international regulations and company standardsPlan and monitor maintenance, repairs, and dry-docking activitiesHealth, Safety and Environment ComplianceManage budgets, costs, and vendor performanceHuman capital development and People management - Liaise with ship staff, class, flag, and external stakeholdersRequirementsYou must be a qualified Marine Engineer; a degree in business or any related discipline will be an added advantage.Chief Engineer with sailing experience on dry vessels (bulk carriers preferred)Prior experience in a Technical Superintendent role or similar shore-based functionShip-to-shore based candidates are free to applyStrong exposure to dry docking, PMS, and vessel performance monitoringCommercial awareness and ability to work closely with multiple stakeholdersGood understanding of class, flag, and international regulatory requirementsBusiness acumen with capability to manage the budgetary responsibilities for multiple vessels.BenefitsJoin one of the leading companies in the industry.Stable and structured working environmentGood exposure to fleet operations and vessel performanceLong-term career stability and growth opportunitiesRECRUITMENT PROCESS: Please apply with an updated resume.
