As part of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in supporting seamless site operations through effective administration and data management.Why Join Us?The Lifting Foreman will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all lifting activities on construction and engineering project sites. The role requires hands-on experience in the engineering or construction industry, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant lifting operations while guiding and managing rigging teams and equipment operators.About Your TeamReporting directly to the Logistics Manager, you will work closely with site operations, safety, commercial teams, and external suppliers to ensure smooth logistics administration and compliance across all activities.Your RoleSupervise daily lifting operations on site, including cranes, hoists, and rigging activities.Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, signalmen, and site teams for safe execution of lifts.Ensure all lifting operations follow project plans, method statements, and risk assessments.Inspect lifting equipment, slings, shackles, and accessories before each operation.Assist in planning lifts, calculating load requirements, and identifying safe lifting points.Monitor lifting operations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Provide guidance and training to riggers and other lifting personnel.Report any equipment faults, incidents, or near misses to the Lift Supervisor or Site Engineer.Maintain accurate records of lifting activities, inspections, and equipment usage.Requirements:Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lifting Foreman or equivalent role in the engineering/construction industry.Strong knowledge of lifting operations, cranes, rigging, and site safety standards.Ability to read lifting plans, method statements, and technical drawings.Good leadership, communication, and team management skills.Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and lifting certifications.Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor site conditions.What We OfferOpportunity to contribute to some of the most iconic and challenging projects in the regionA high-performing, collaborative site environment with room to growDirect involvement in end-to-end construction operationsA full-time, on-site role in the UAE, with hands-on exposure to real-world logistics challengesReady to drive construction logistics on world-class projects?If you’re inspired by this opportunity and meet the requirements, we want to hear from you.Join ALEC Building and be a key force behind our on-site success and delivery excellence.Apply today and let’s build something exceptional.
