Tactical Sourcing - Direct Materials & Directs Kitting

Customers—and their patients—are at the heart of what we do.Our mission is to empower our customers to advance healthcare, and our success starts with our teammates.Purchase Requisition Processing & Conversion (35%): Efficiently review and process purchase requisitions for specific direct material categories (e.g., raw materials, kitting components).Process sourcing requests from Coupa, SAP or other systems to meticulously verify technical specifications, quantities, delivery dates, and required certifications against system data and stakeholder requests.Actively solicit and manage quotes from at least three qualified suppliers for sourcing requests utilizing Coupa’s request for quote (RFQ), eAuctions functionality to deliver resultsUtilize Coupa's catalog and guided buying features for streamlined ordering where applicable, ensuring adherence to established contracts.E-Sourcing Event Setup & Management (30%): Set up and execute tactical e-sourcing events in Coupa (e.g., RFQs, simple e-auctions) for direct material requirements, inviting approved and pre-qualified suppliers.Analyze supplier bids received through Coupa, recommend awards based on price, lead time, quality, and other defined criteria, in consultation with Category Team Members.Manage all communication with suppliers within the Coupa platform during e-sourcing events.Order Management & Expediting (20%): Proactively monitor purchase orders from issuance through delivery, tracking status and expediting critical shipments to ensure on-time material availability.Collaborate with suppliers, internal logistics, and manufacturing teams to resolve delivery discrepancies, quality issues, and returns.Automation & Category Engagement (15%): Actively leverage automation features within Coupa and other integrated systems to reduce manual tasks (e.g., automated reminders, simplified invoice matching, workflow triggers).
