Objective-Develop a smart factory by leveraging Operational Excellence, Digitalization and Automation technologies.Primary Responsibilities-Strategic and planningDevelop and execute strategy for implementation of various cost savings & efficiency improvement projects by driving Lean manufacturing, Digitalization and Automation initiatives.Core FunctionalCycle time calculation & reduction through Industrial Engineering tools.Implementation of Industry 4.0 initiatives in the plant incorporation with corporate team.Improving operations efficiency (OEE, OTD) and First Time Right.Drive automation projects improve efficiency and optimize headcount.Prepare CAPEX for identified projects and ensure the compliance as per the plan.Internal ProcessesEnhancing Equipment & Process performance to achieve better product quality thru various tools & techniques.Coordinating operational and business excellence certification audits.People developmentPeriodic training to all associates on operational excellence methodology and tools -5S, Kaizen, VSM, Six Sigma, Time and Motion study.Create awareness among plant regarding digital and automation initiativesKey Result areaOn time completion of operational, digital and automation projects.Improve productivity, efficiency and quality across processes.Adherence to gross margin improvement / cost saving plan.Training to associates on various operational efficiency improvement tools & techniques.B. Tech-Mechanical/Industrial Engineering- 8-10 yrsorM. Tech/MBA with Lean Six sigma black belt certification- 5 to 8 yrs
