The global experience gained from previous projects, together with the proximity of our local offices and an extensive network of local partners, enables us to better serve our clients by delivering quality products, excellent service, and competitiveness at the same time.As part of our growth in the region, we are currently seeking a Piping Materials Senior Engineer to join our established office in Pune, India.Role Summary:As a Piping Material Engineer, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of Piping Line Class SpecificationsPreparation of Pipe Wall Thickness CalculationsPreparation of Valve Material SpecificationsPreparation of Valve Data SheetsPerform valve take off from P&IDsKeep track of all Design changes from P&ID’s and managing surplus / needsMonitor piping material requirements and adjust material delta requisitionsKnowledgeable compiling of requisition packages with all applicable documentsDesign and selection of Piping Material Specification for Piping SystemsPreparation of Data Sheets for the Piping Specialty ItemsPreparation of MR (Material Requisition) for quotations and purchaseReview the Vendor offers, do technical discussions with the vendors, and prepare TBE (Technical Bid Evaluation)Vendor Documents ReviewPrepare the list of Piping Specialty Items like Steam Traps, Strainers, Hoses, etc.Knowledge in Testing and Inspection Requirements for Piping Components and Valves Compliance with Specifications and Industrial Quality StandardsQualifications & ExperienceEducationBachelor’s degree in engineering in the relevant discipline or equivalentExperience8+ years’ experience in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas industry, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power, Refineries.Skills & CompetenciesKnowledge of relevant codes- ASME, ASTM, API etc.Good Communication Skill. English Fluent in Speaking and WritingGood Team Player. Self-Motivated with a Drive for Results, Improvement, and Innovation
