Workingknowledge on Value engineering, concept development, Design for Manufacturability (DFM) /Design forAssembly (DFA), Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA) concepts is needed. An ideal candidate will haveextensive experience in providing technical design on Mechanical hardware, Machine parts and Components forSemiconductor, medical or Industrial equipment ManufacturersKey Responsibilities:• Predesign- Requirement collection, problem definition, gather technical information, effort estimation, andclarifying customer goals and receive work RFQs• Concept Design- Brainstorm Multiple solutional approach, create concept sketches, feasibility analysis,finalize acceptable solution with customer.• Detail Design- Generating Specifications, mathematical calculations, detailed 2D design drawings,integration with electrical / electronic design modules, develop 3D models for simulations & test design forfunctionality, performance, strength and efficiency.• Design Optimization - Develop Final BOMs and design documents for production, assembly instructions,Quality control instructions using PLM tools.• Design Updations- Correct and update old design documents for any changes made during production.Update component libraries .Education: B.E / B Tech/ M Tech in Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering.• Highly skilled in engineering & project management tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, SCATIA & Jeera,• Good to have Certifications: PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma .Experience: Min 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering design. Experience in precision equipment design in semicon, Medical, Aerospace domains would be an added advantage.
