(Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science)Years of Experience: > 7 to 12 yrs.Location: TCP PunePurpose of the Position (Short Summary of the Role):Support in Functional safety (FuSa) development of the vehicles functionsSingle point of contact for all the FuSa related work product discussion, planning & execution of the safety activities.Co-ordinate & assist in safety Inspections & Audits of the ECU suppliers.Preparation of the Safety case for new releases as well as “life cycle updates”.Lead the supporting process activities i.e. configuration management, requirement management etc.Establish the safety culture in TCP-India.Authority:Responsible to provide the expert judgment to VW Group Brands’ FuSa Managers to take inform decisions for the following domains:1) Advanced Driver Assistance Systems / Automated Driving SystemsResponsible to prepare safety cases for Safety critical parts.Responsible to develop know how in TCP.Skills Required:Knowledge of ISO 26262 standards, Requirement engineering principles and FuSa development lifecycle of HW/SW/Vehicle.Experience in development of:1) Impact analysis & safety plan2) Hazard analysis & Risk assessment3) Safety concepts (Functional & Technical)4) Safety analysis (HAZOP, FTA, FMEA, DFA, DFMEA)5) Safety cases.Experience in handling requirement management tools (Doors/Codebeamer) and FuSa development tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler/Medini AnalyzeCommunication skill, Ability to work in an international cross-functional teamKnowledge of Vehicle Electronic Systems / Architectures, In-Vehicle network communications (CAN/CAN- FD/LIN/Ethernet etc.), sensors and actuatorsKnowledge of Testing in different environments – incl ECU Testing, HiL Testing, Test Setups, Vehicle Testing and their tools and methodologiesKnowledge of Automotive Driver Assistance / Automated Driving Systems (including electronics, mechanical and functional safety design aspects)Key Responsibilities &Tasks:Co-ordination & execution of the safety lifecycle activities of the “New Development” and “Life Cycle Management” projects with Volkswagen Group brandsCreation and update of FuSa impact analysis & Safety plan on the vehicle levelDevelopment & Maintenance of the /"Hazard Analysis & Risk assessment (HARA)/"Development & Maintenance of Vehicle level Functional safety concept including safety analyses.Development & Maintenance of Vehicle level Technical safety concept including safety analysesDevelopment and review of FuSa verification and validation strategies, test specifications and test reportsMonitoring, Review and Technical acceptance of ECU supplier FuSa activities and artifacts as per the /"Vehicle safety plan/" & /"DIA/",Preparation & safety approval of the Safety case as per requirement of ISO26262 for the /"lifecycle updates/", /"ORU/", /"ECU/" changesKnowledge building within TCP-India, process harmonization and process improvement in the Quality Management System activities between TCP-India & VW Group BrandsEqual Opportunity and Mutual RespectCompany assures equal opportunity and equal treatment, irrespective of ethnicity, skin color, gender, disability, ideology, faith, nationality, sexual orientation, social background or political conviction, provided it is based on democratic principles and tolerance towards those of contrary convictions.
