We partner with global organizations to deliver high-impact technology solutions and build world-class engineering teams.Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Architect to drive the design, development, and implementation of scalable test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java-based automation, hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript, and a solid understanding of modern QA practices. Familiarity with emerging Gen AI concepts in testing will be an added advantage.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and architecture of robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation frameworks.Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java, Playwright, and TypeScript.Define automation strategies, best practices, and coding standards across projects.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Development, DevOps, and Product Management.Drive test automation for web applications, APIs, and end-to-end workflows.Ensure integration of automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.Mentor and guide QA engineers, conducting code reviews and ensuring quality deliverables.Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with teams for resolution.Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes for continuous improvement.Explore and implement use cases leveraging Generative AI (Gen AI) for test optimization, test data generation, and intelligent test maintenance.Required Skills & Qualifications:10+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.Strong programming expertise in Java.Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript for UI automation.Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.Solid understanding of OOPs concepts, design patterns, and clean coding practices.Experience with API testing (REST, SOAP) and tools like Postman or RestAssured.Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.Experience with version control systems (Git).Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.Preferred / Good to Have:Exposure to Gen AI concepts and tools (e.g., AI-assisted test generation, test case optimization).Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Knowledge of performance testing tools is a plus.Experience in containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes.Understanding of security testing basics.Soft Skills:Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to lead and influence teamsProactive mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement
