Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Role OverviewWe are looking for an Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Selenium-based automation and prior exposure to stock broking or trading platforms (web/mobile). The role involves building and maintaining automation frameworks to ensure the reliability, performance, and accuracy of trading and investment applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.Build and enhance test automation frameworks for web and trading applications.Execute automated test suites for trading journeys such as order placement, portfolio tracking, market data, and funds transfer.Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams to understand functional requirements and ensure proper test coverage.Identify, log, and track defects through the defect management lifecycle.Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.Validate API integrations and backend services used in trading platforms.Ensure application quality for high-volume trading scenarios and real-time market data.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.3+ years of experience in Automation Testing.Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.Proficiency in Java / Python / JavaScript for automation scripting.Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured.Experience working in Agile development environments.Strong understanding of STLC, defect lifecycle, and test automation best practices.Preferred SkillsPrior experience working on Stock Broking / Trading / Wealth Management platforms.Understanding of capital market concepts such as order types, exchanges, and market data feeds.Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or GitLab.Why Join Us?Work directly with the Managing Director and senior leadershipExposure to high-impact strategic decision-makingAccelerated learning in capital markets and business strategyOpportunity to work on organization-wide strategic initiatives
