This role focuses on leveraging computational design to enhance creativity, efficiency, and performance in architectural and interior projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with parametric modelling, automation tools, and performance analysis, ensuring innovative and data-driven design solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesThe role encompasses, but is not restricted to, the following responsibilities:Lead a team to develop exciting, elegant, accessible, feasible and economically viable wayfinding, signage and branding solutions.Coordinate and collaborate with architects, designers, engineers and consultants to develop signage strategies, zoning and flows.Support the design, coordination and implementation of wayfinding signage strategies in alignment with the architectural and interior design intent and user experience goals with the development of the design documentation, sign location plans, message schedule.Develop the graphics and spatial design for wayfinding signage system.Develop the sign design with information system, narrative and nomenclature to meet the project requirements.Specify the materials, finishes and construction for the designed wayfinding signage.Ensure compatibility with Accessibility and Regulatory StandardsExpertise’s in developing and executing wayfinding strategies and collaboration with architects or interior designers.Manage multiple projects with assist with planning and coordinating tasks with team members to ensure compliance with submission deadlines.Support team members with knowledge sharing and guidance.Lead client presentations and project meetingsCoordinate with engineering disciplines to integrate wayfinding signage.Ensure quality and accuracy of wayfinding and signage drawings and documentation.Stay updated on industry trends and tools relevant to wayfinding and signage.Values Alignment Communicate clearly and maintain accountability in technical delivery.Having a keen interest in multiple design disciplines is a significant advantage, as the fields are interconnected and share core principles like color theory, composition, and human-centered problem-solving.Qualifications (Minimum education, certifications, experience)Bachelor’s degree in architecture / Specialization in Environmental Graphic Design with good creative skills in graphics and product design.Minimum 3-15 years of professional experience in large scale and complex project, such as airports, metro stations, malls, hospitals, etc.Relevant design software proficiency for basic architectural tasks (Revit, AutoCAD), and design software for graphics (Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign)Skills and competenciesManages workload effectively, produce quality outputs and collaborates across teams.Good artistic skills such as understanding color theory, typography, and composition; creative and problem-solving abilities to generate unique ideas and convey messages.Professional skills like communication and time management to work effectively with clients and meet project requirements.
