Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our quality engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation frameworks, scripting, and test execution using modern technologies like C#, Appium, Selenium, TestComplete, and Python. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality, scalability, and performance through robust automation practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using C# and Python.Automate functional, regression, and smoke test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.Build and execute tests using Selenium, Appium, and TestComplete.Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.Identify, log, and track defects, collaborating with engineering teams for quick resolution.Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device testing.Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.Contribute to test planning, test data management, and reporting of test execution.Drive best practices in QA automation, coding standards, and maintainability.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.5+ years of experience in QA automation engineering.Strong programming skills in C# and good working knowledge of Python.Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Appium, and TestComplete.Experience with test frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, PyTest, or similar.Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for backend validation.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).Hands-on experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).Nice to HaveExperience in API testing (Postman, RestSharp, or similar tools).Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).Familiarity with BDD frameworks (SpecFlow, Cucumber).
