The manager enables engineers and analysts to be successful by providing clarity, coaching, performance management, and strong cross-team coordination.Success in this role is measured by team health and performance, delivery predictability, quality of outcomes, adherence to standards, and strong alignment with onshore partners.What You’ll Do:Team Leadership & Performance Management:Lead, coach, and develop a team of Data Engineers and Senior Analysts in an offshore delivery modelProvide regular feedback, performance management, and career development supportFoster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous learningEnsure team members clearly understand expectations, priorities, and success criteriaDelivery Oversight & Execution Support:Oversee day-to-day execution across data engineering and analyst workstreamsEnsure Engineers and Senior Analysts are effectively partnered and operating as a cohesive delivery unitMonitor delivery progress, quality, and risks across initiativesSupport timely escalation and resolution of delivery issues or blockersPrioritization & Continuous Improvement:Contribute to backlog prioritization in partnership with onshore leaders, balancing business value, capacity, and dependenciesIdentify opportunities to improve delivery processes, tooling, standards, and ways of workingDrive adoption of best practices across intake, development, testing, validation, and release workflowsTrack and act on delivery metrics to improve predictability and efficiencyCross-Team & Onshore Partnership:Coordinate extensively with onshore engineering, analytics, and business stakeholdersEnsure alignment on priorities, timelines, standards, and expectations across teamsPartner with other engineering and analytics managers to ensure consistency across delivery modelsSupport clear communication, documentation, and handoffs in a globally distributed environmentStandards, Quality & Operational Excellence:Ensure teams follow established engineering, analytics, and data quality standardsPromote consistent use of tooling for intake, tracking, documentation, and delivery (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git)Support production readiness by ensuring testing, validation, and release processes are followedEncourage proactive identification and prevention of recurring issuesWhat You’ll Bring:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience11–14 years of experience in data, analytics, or engineering roles, including people leadershipProven experience managing teams in a global or offshore delivery modelStrong ability to lead through influence, clarity, and structured executionMust Have Skills:Experience managing Data Engineers, Analysts, or similar technical rolesStrong people leadership, performance management, and coaching capabilitiesExperience supporting data delivery lifecycles from intake through production releaseAbility to partner effectively with onshore teams and senior stakeholdersStrong organizational, prioritization, and execution management skillsFamiliarity with modern data platforms, lakehouse concepts, and analytics workflowsExperience using Jira, Confluence, or similar tools for planning, tracking, and documentationClear, effective communication skills across technical and non-technical audiencesNice to Have:Experience leading teams supporting lakehouse or cloud data platformsExposure to medallion (bronze/silver/gold) data architecturesExperience driving process improvement or delivery transformation initiativesFamiliarity with Agile or product-oriented delivery modelsExperience working in large, complex enterprise data environments.TMUS India Private Limited, operating as TMUS Global Solutions, has engaged ANSR, Inc.
