TMUS India Private Limited operates as TMUS Global Solutions.About the Role: The Manager, Data Engineering & Analytics leads and supports a globally distributed team of Data Engineers and Senior Analysts, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery of data products from intake through production release. This role is responsible for people leadership, execution management, and operational excellence—partnering closely with onshore engineering, analytics, and business leaders to align priorities, implement best practices, and continuously improve delivery effectiveness. The manager enables engineers and analysts to be successful by providing clarity, coaching, performance management, and strong cross-team coordination. Success in this role is measured by team health and performance, delivery predictability, quality of outcomes, adherence to standards, and strong alignment with onshore partners.What You’ll Do: Team Leadership & Performance Management: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Data Engineers and Senior Analysts in an offshore delivery model Provide regular feedback, performance management, and career development support Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous learning Ensure team members clearly understand expectations, priorities, and success criteriaDelivery Oversight & Execution Support: Oversee day-to-day execution across data engineering and analyst workstreams Ensure Engineers and Senior Analysts are effectively partnered and operating as a cohesive delivery unit Monitor delivery progress, quality, and risks across initiatives Support timely escalation and resolution of delivery issues or blockersPrioritization & Continuous Improvement: Contribute to backlog prioritization in partnership with onshore leaders, balancing business value, capacity, and dependencies Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, tooling, standards, and ways of working Drive adoption of best practices across intake, development, testing, validation, and release workflows Track and act on delivery metrics to improve predictability and efficiencyCross-Team & Onshore Partnership: Coordinate extensively with onshore engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders Ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, standards, and expectations across teams Partner with other engineering and analytics managers to ensure consistency across delivery models Support clear communication, documentation, and handoffs in a globally distributed environmentStandards, Quality & Operational Excellence: Ensure teams follow established engineering, analytics, and data quality standards Promote consistent use of tooling for intake, tracking, documentation, and delivery (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git) Support production readiness by ensuring testing, validation, and release processes are followed Encourage proactive identification and prevention of recurring issuesWhat You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience 11–14 years of experience in data, analytics, or engineering roles, including people leadership Proven experience managing teams in a global or offshore delivery model Strong ability to lead through influence, clarity, and structured executionMust Have Skills: Experience managing Data Engineers, Analysts, or similar technical roles Strong people leadership, performance management, and coaching capabilities Experience supporting data delivery lifecycles from intake through production release Ability to partner effectively with onshore teams and senior stakeholders Strong organizational, prioritization, and execution management skills Familiarity with modern data platforms, lakehouse concepts, and analytics workflows Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar tools for planning, tracking, and documentation Clear, effective communication skills across technical and non-technical audiencesNice to Have: Experience leading teams supporting lakehouse or cloud data platforms Exposure to medallion (bronze/silver/gold) data architectures Experience driving process improvement or delivery transformation initiatives Familiarity with Agile or product-oriented delivery models Experience working in large, complex enterprise data environments.
