Senior Engineer - Quality Control

About the JobVenti Oelde India Private Limited is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quality Control Engineer to join our Quality team.This role focuses on quality assurance, inspection, and documentation for rotating equipment, with particular emphasis on large industrial centrifugal and axial fans. The successful candidate will ensure that all equipment meets customer specifications, internal manufacturing standards, and applicable regulatory requirements through structured inspection processes and effective coordination with internal teams and external inspection agencies.Employment TypeFull-time (6 months' probation period followed by permanent position)QualificationBachelor’s degree in mechanical / industrial / production engineeringDiploma engineers with strong service experience in industrial equipment may also be consideredExperience3–6 years of relevant experience in industrial equipment / machinery servicePrior experience in fans, blowers, rotating equipment, or heavy machinery will be an added advantageCompensation OfferedAs per industry standards and experience Key ResponsibilitiesReview and interpret engineering drawings, Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs), and technical specificationsPerform dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, etc.)Conduct in-process and final inspections of rotating equipment, especially centrifugal and axial fansCoordinate and supervise third-party inspections (TPI) as per project and customer requirementsMonitor and track inspection activities and project milestones at vendor and sub-vendor facilitiesPrepare, maintain, and update inspection reports, quality records, and traceability documentationCollaborate closely with design, production, procurement, and project teams to ensure quality compliance throughout the product lifecycleSupport continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and reporting quality issues and deviationsRequired Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of inspection and quality control procedures for rotating equipmentHands-on experience with precision inspection tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and surface finish testersProficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&TFamiliarity with applicable Indian and international standards (ISO, DIN, ASME, API, as relevant)Self-motivated, well-organized, and target-oriented with strong attention to detailKnowledge of welding inspection practices and NDT methods will be a mandatory requirement Career PathCandidates demonstrating strong technical competence, ownership, and alignment with company values during the probation period may be confirmed as permanent employees following a management review after 6 months.
