Quality Assurance Test Engineer

Job Title: QA EngineerLocation: Pune BanerMode: ContractInterview Type: In-person onlyRole & Responsibilitiesole & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute automation test scripts using Selenium (must), Robot Framework, Python (must), and Golang.Implement robust locators for web elements (absolute vs relative paths) and ensure maintainable automation frameworks.Leverage built-in keywords of Robot Framework and follow best practices in OOPs concepts and Python (data types, tuple vs list, etc.).Perform API testing and automation as required.Work with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) create and manage EC2/VMs, subnets, security groups, IAM roles, and programmatic connections.Handle system-level knowledge:Virtualization (VMWare or HyperV)OS concepts and troubleshooting (e.g., VM not pingable, OS booting process)Basic networking troubleshootingKubernetes (K8s) commands and cluster managementDisaster Recovery (RTO vs RPO concepts)Contribute to security and backup domains, including awareness of malware detection infrastructure and enterprise storage/backup solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments for requirement discussions, test planning, execution, and reporting.Required SkillsStrong automation testing experience with Selenium + Python.Hands-on experience with Robot Framework and knowledge of Golang (preferred).Good understanding of SQL, OOPs concepts, and Python data structures.Exposure to Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).Experience in Virtualization (VMWare/HyperV), Kubernetes, and OS troubleshooting.Awareness of malware detection.Hands-on experience with DATAbackup(like Veeam / Commvault / NetBackup / Rubrik / Acronis ETC.), andstorage/security domains.Preferred Background5+ years of experience in Automation/SDET roles.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Exposure to backup, storage, or security domains will be an added advantage.Important NoteOnly candidates who are genuinely interested in attending a face-to-face, in-person interview should apply.
