Senior Load and Performance Testing Engineer

THIS IS A LONG-TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADERS.We are seeking a highly skilledSenior Software Test Engineerwith strong expertise inBackend | REST API Automation | Java | DevOps tools . You will be part of a dynamic engineering team in Pune, working on building robust, scalable, and high-quality cloud and web products. This is a hybrid role based in Pune.Experience Level: 7-10 years (Overall experience can be more)Key Responsibilities: Own and executeend-to-end backend automationfor new and existing features. Define theQA strategyfor the team and set up robustrelease management practices . Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand requirements and convert them intodetailed test plans . Write clean assertions that map tobusiness acceptance criteriaand maintain stable automation suites. Driveautomation coveragewithin the scrum team and implement best practices for scalable and maintainable frameworks. Identify flaky tests, strengthen automation stability, and optimize the testing pyramid. Work closely with engineering teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputed institution. 4–8 yearsof professional experience in Software Testing or SDET roles. Strong hands-on experience inJava , JavaScript, or Python for automation scripting. Expertise withREST API automation frameworkssuch as RestAssured, Karate, etc. Proficiency inBDD frameworkslike Cucumber or JBehave. Experience withperformance testing tools(JMeter or equivalent). Hands-on experience withJira, Jenkins, Git , and version control workflows.
