Senior Engineer - (Static & 2D)

Job Profile Overview: To independently handle mechanical design, analysis, and documentation of static equipment using PV Elite and deliver code-compliant 2D engineering drawings for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical applications, ensuring compliance with ASME, PED, and GMP requirements.Role : Senior Engineer - (Static & 2D)Education Qualification : BE / BTech / Diploma – Mechanical EngineeringYears of experience : 8 to 10 yrsAccountable & Responsible for :1.PV Elite – Core Responsibilities:Complete mechanical design of pressure vessels, tanks, reactors, bioreactors, fermenters, heat exchangers.Define design pressure, temperature, materials.Perform shell, head, nozzle reinforcement, flange, vacuum, wind and seismic calculations.Generate PV Elite calculation reports for ASME Section VIII Div 1 / Div 2 and PED.Optimize design for safety, cost, and manufacturability.2.Static Equipment Engineering :Prepare design basis and calculation summaries.Support U-stamp and PED documentation.Handle design revisions and technical clarifications.Coordinate with third-party inspectors.3.2D Engineering:Prepare and check GA, fabrication and nozzle orientation drawings.Ensure drawings strictly align with PV Elite calculations.Skills:PV Elite – ExpertAutoCAD 2D – AdvancedMS ExcelSolidWorks / Inventor / Navisworks – Preferred
