Job Title: Senior VCS Engineer (3 Openings)Location: Pune, IndiaDepartment: Core Infrastructure – Virtualization, Compute & Storage (VCS) OperationsReports To: Manager, VCS OperationsJob Type: ContractPosition SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Senior VCS Engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. The role is responsible for deploying, managing, and supporting enterprise-class Virtualization, Compute, and Storage infrastructure across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesVirtualization Management- Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and Horizon VDI environments. - Perform provisioning, performance optimization, patch management, and troubleshooting activities.Compute Infrastructure- Administer and support server hardware platforms including Dell, HPE, Cisco, Nutanix, and IBM. - Handle new server deployments, firmware upgrades, and hardware break/fix tasks.Storage Administration- Manage and operate SAN/NAS storage technologies such as NetApp ONTAP, SnapMirror, Dell VxRail, Nutanix, HPE Alletra, IBM FlashSystem, and Pure Storage. - Perform backup and recovery operations using Rubrik, IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM), and Commvault. - Ensure data integrity, availability, and disaster recovery readiness.Security & Compliance- Maintain secure infrastructure environments and enforce proper access controls.Documentation & Collaboration- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation. - Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams to support ongoing initiatives.Performance Monitoring- Monitor system performance and implement optimization and tuning improvements.Required Qualifications- 7+ years of hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure with a focus on Virtualization, Compute, and Storage technologies. - Experience with monitoring, logging, and remote support tools such as Aria, OpsRamp, Lakeside, and Splunk. - Strong troubleshooting abilities, along with excellent documentation and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications- Experience with automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, or Python. - Exposure to financial services or other regulated environments.
