Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Position: Sr EngineerJob DescriptionHandle RFQs and participate in technical discussions & sign-off with customersDesign and develop new products (Automotive switches & sensors)Create 3D models and prepare 2D engineering drawingsConduct DFMEA, DFM, DFA activitiesPerform product costing and feasibility analysisCarry out design analysis including calculations and tolerance stack-upReview & finalize DVP in collaboration with the customerSupport prototype development and validationLead design reviews with customer and internal CFT teamsConduct and approve DFM reviews and tool design reviewsCoordinate with cross-functional teams for tooling, process development, and product testingPerform product benchmarking and competitive analysisLead troubleshooting for product quality issues during development and field/customer feedbackSkills & Experience RequiredBachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive engineering or equivalent4–6 years of hands-on experience in product design (automotive preferred)Strong knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processesProficient in CAD software (CREO / CATIA)Good understanding of product development processes & engineering standardsStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams
