The company's core competencies are in Diesel/Petrol engines, Gensets, Farm Equipment and Construction Equipment.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for Electrical Motor and E-Powertrain Design Engineer. In this role, you will work on development and electromagnetic analysis of electrical motors, specifically for electric two and three wheelers.Number of Openings- 3Educational QualificationsBE/BTech or ME/MTech or MCA/MSc in Electrical Engineerin.Experience Range- 7 to 10 years of relevant experienceMandatory Technical Skillset- Experience in the design of electrical machines and knowledge of electrical vehicle drive train - Experience with FE tools for E-mag design, preferably Ansys Motor CAD, Maxwell 2D/3D or Speed software - Domain knowledge of PMSM, BLDC, SRM & Induction Motors design and development EV Applications - Knowledge of winding techniques, Magnetic materials, and Motor assembly. - Knowledge of different control strategies used for BLDC and PMSM Motors - Flexible to travel as per business needs - Working experience and knowledge of NEMA, IEC Frame – 1Ph & 3Ph MotorsGood to have skillset- Experience E-Powertrain design and development for 2/3 wheelers - TCXML, PLMXMLKey Job Responsibilities- In this job you will be responsible for designing and development of electrical motors for various two and three-wheeler applications. - You will work on electrical analysis and improvements of the designs of the motors and will be expected to perform thermal analysis, support prototype building, and testing. - Maintain good documentation - Be a team player and work well with a diverse team which may be spread all over the world through strong and clear communication. - Research on how to implement various requirements and make informed decisions in a timely manner. - Take active part in weekly review meetings and put forth ideas or solutions to problems.Travel RequirementWhile the base location is in Baner, Pune candidates should expect some travel to different locations for vendor and client meetings as well as testing.
