Location- Pune Budget- 8 lpa Job Summary: Currently seeing a highly motivated, talented, and experienced IT professional to complement our industry leading IT Department as a Telephony Systems Engineer. Reporting to the Infrastructure Team Leader they will form an integral part of the Infrastructure Team in taking ownership and delivery for the maintenance and management of the Telephony system. The successful candidate will have prior experience of operating in a similar role. They will be expected to lead the technical delivery of projects with a strong emphasis on security, showing a positive attitude, initiative. They will be the go-to resource for their team and fellow Systems Engineers for telephony matters, so will possess all the essential skills and knowledge set out below, be highly technical and able to communicate effectively. In addition to project delivery, the Infrastructure Team act as an escalation point for Service Desk, so an aptitude for solving complex operational issues is essential. Main Duties & Responsibilities:Act as an escalation point for incidents, problems, projects and changes Driving improvement and innovation, challenging current technologies, processes and behaviours Ensuring availability, Integrity and confidentiality of IT Infrastructure services to meet agreed SLAs and KPIs are achieved Undertaking all activities with a primary focus on risk mitigation and data security Carrying out day to day tasks relating to Telephony system and applications. Provisioning/de-provisioning including maintenance and monitoring Management and strategic planning of IT infrastructure and applications capacity management Producing regular reports on IT Infrastructure and application health, providing remediation actions and recommending improvements Coordinating with 3rd party providers to ensure regular security and platform upgrade cycles are maintained Troubleshooting complex issues with 3rd party support vendors such as Ring Central, Citrix and Microsoft Building a strong working relationship with colleagues within the Infrastructure Services Team and the wider IT function Planning, managing and delivering changes from concept to transition into support. Working within a defined Architectural methodology, delivering documentation such as HLD, LLD, implementation documents and knowledgebase articles Staying abreast of latest technology trends and identifying new technologies that could provide additional efficiencies and benefits Mentoring, coaching and guiding colleagues within the Service Desk teamCommunication:Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong peer relationships Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and concisely under pressure Ability to communicate technical information effectively and clearly to a non-technical audienceWorking relationships:Reporting to the Infrastructure Team Leader Ability to establish and maintain a good team relationship. Ability to build strong relationships across the extended IT team and key business areas Disposition & Attitude:Ability to successfully manage the prioritisation of issues and projects Focused on attention to detail, with a desire to see things through to completion Keenness to embrace change Ability to work under extreme pressure whilst maintaining composure Ability to work independently with a clear focus on ownership and accountability Highly motivated, driven and results-focusedSkills & Knowledge: Essential Desirable Minimum 1 years' experience configuring and supporting: Telecommunications systems Strong background maintaining systems in a secure manner Understanding of networking including subnets and routing, Working knowledge of current Unified Comms in on-premises and cloud technologies Ability to use creativity and innovation to automate and streamline processes and procedures Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex tasks using available resources, as needed. Excellent documentation skills. Excellent analytic and troubleshooting skills Good understanding of: Ring Central Phone system Teams Telephony integration Microsoft 365 product suite Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs Citrix Virtual App, Desktop, Workspace & ADC Meraki Switches Microsoft Server O/S 2016 onwards Experience of working in an environment following frameworks such as ITIL.
