Senior Mobile Test Automation Engineer

Must Have: Mobile Automation: Appium (preferred), Selenium. Test Automation: Java. Test Management Tools: Qtest, Quality Center or HPALM Defect Management Tools: JIRA, Rally. API Testing/Debugging Tools: Postman, Karate or SOAP UI, Rest Assured Key Ask for the discussed role: · Hands on experience in Test automation using Java or other programming languages · Hands on experience in Mobile Automation testing using Appium and Selenium · Experience in Test management tools like Qtest or Quality Center or HPALM · Experience in Defect management tools like JIRA or any similar defect management tool. · Hands on experience in API Test / Debugging tools like Postman, Karate, SOAP UI, Rest Assured · The candidate should have solid experience in mobile test automation and debugging, with at least five years of experience and requires skills to identify why issues occur · This role involves daily production issues and troubleshooting, so candidates must be capable of debugging both mobile apps and APIs using tools like Postman. · Technologies like Perfecto and Espresso are niche in the market hence, can be learned if the candidate has a good foundation in debugging and testing. · The candidate must be a strong communicator who can work effectively across teams and coordinate with different stakeholders. · The candidate should have experience working in larger matrix organizations, as the role is not in a startup environment. · The role requires someone who can challenge others and deal with difficult situations, such as taking ownership of problems and countering when necessary Good to have Skills: · Device Emulation & Simulation: Perfecto, BrowserStack.
