Job Description – Senior Signal Processing Engineer  Job Title: Senior Signal Processing/Machine Learning Engineer Experience: Ph.D 0 – 1 years Experience: MTech 1 - 3 years Education: MTech or Ph.D. in Signal Processing, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field Location:  Pune, Maharashtra, India Type: Full-time Role Overview: - We are looking for a passionate and skilled Signal Processing & Machine Learning Engineer to join our R&D team in Pune, Maharashtra. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing advanced signal processing algorithms, applying machine learning techniques to time-series data, and deploying robust, real-time solutions across different application domains. Key Responsibilities: Research, design, and implement signal processing algorithms (filtering, FFT, STFT, wavelet transforms, spectral analysis). Develop and train ML/DL models for predictive modeling, anomaly detection, and signal classification. Work with time-series and sensor data: preprocessing, noise reduction, and feature engineering. Optimize algorithms for real-time applications and embedded systems. Collaborate with hardware, data science, and software teams for system-level integration. Stay updated on the latest advancements in DSP and ML research to bring innovative ideas. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders. Required Qualifications & Skills M.Tech or Ph.D. in Signal Processing, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or equivalent. 0–3 years of professional/industrial experience in signal processing & ML. Strong knowledge of DSP fundamentals: transforms, filtering, spectral analysis, adaptive methods. Hands-on experience with Python, MATLAB, or C/C++. Familiarity with ML libraries/frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn. Proven work on time-series/sensor data analysis. Strong foundation in statistics, linear algebra, and optimization. Preferred Skills (Good to Have) Deep learning for signal and time-series data (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers). Underwater Signal Processing Experience with real-time embedded systems (DSP processors, FPGAs, GPUs). Application exposure in wireless communication, vibration/acoustic analysis, or radar/sonar.
