Job Description: This role is with one of our clients which is a Pune-based consultancy specializing in establishing Digital Engineering practices and building the digital tapestry in organizations through formal Systems Engineering methodologies. With integrated digital engineering solutioning we assist organizations to solve engineering problems, embrace emerging technologies and achieve operational excellence. Currently the company engages with various industry domains such as aerospace, automotive, industrial equipment manufacturing and typically with large OEMs, MNCs and PSUs. This role is in the aerospace domain. Position: Lead Systems Engineer (Aerospace) Location: Pune Relevant Experience (Must have) A professional with more than 8 years of industry experience, looking for a challenging Opportunity to lead projects and group of Systems Engineers, with a willingness to Learn new technologies, methodologies and Digital Engineering and MBSE tools. Product Development and Systems Architecture experience Experience in MBSE / MBSD / MBE tools using SysML such as Cameo / Rhapsody / PREEvision etc Writing and managing requirements in requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS, Polarion etc Modelling and Simulation Team leading experience with a team of greater than 5 members Has worked on complex projects Excellent communication skills. Has experience working with clients, customers, stakeholders Good to have Experience Configuration Management V&V experience Project Management experience Programming knowledge (C/C++/ MATLAB or any other) Roles and Responsibilities 1.Lead a team of more than 5 Systems Engineers Competency building of team members 2. Lead MBSE projects. Understanding customer requirements. Breaking down project activities into tasks for team members Review projects to ensure quality and on-time delivery Reviewing deliverables with customers and stakeholders 3. Executing complex projects Understanding Clients needs and identifying gaps and opportunities Defining SE processes as required in the project Exploring MBSE tools and implementing SE processes Providing process trainings to clients when required 4. Ensuring project is on track Work with Project manager to define project plan Regularly update project progress Education BTech / MTech in Aerospace, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, or equivalent Certification in Systems Engineering (good to have)
