BIM Engineer - 5 to 10 years

Key Responsibilities 5 to 10 years of exp in BIM and REVIT Develop Electrical BIM models (LV, MV, and ELV systems) at various LOD levels (300/350/400/500). Perform cable tray routing and conduit layouts in Revit MEP as per project requirements. Create accurate 3D models of electrical equipment including panels, switchgears, and distribution boards (DBs). Collaborate with project teams using Autodesk Navisworks for clash detection and Revizto for coordination. Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings from BIM models. Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, and local authority standards in design and modeling. Conduct quantity take-offs (QTO) and extract BOQs from BIM models. Support project delivery through effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, architectural, structural). Skills & Qualifications Strong proficiency in Revit MEP , Autodesk Navisworks , and Revizto . Good understanding of LV, MV, and ELV systems design and layouts. Hands-on experience in clash detection, shop drawings, and as-built preparation . Knowledge of international electrical codes (NEC, IEC) and local regulations. Experience in BIM workflows, standards, and LOD-based modeling . Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and coordination skills. Preferred Qualifications Diploma / Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Prior experience in construction / MEP / BIM projects . Familiarity with BIM 360 or other CDE platforms is an added advantage.
