Sr Performance Test Engineer _ Immediate Joiner

We are looking dynamic "Sr Performance Test Engineer" for Pune location Experience: 5 to 8 years Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Location: VOIS, EON IT Kharadi, Pune Working Persona: Hybrid Role Purpose: Deliver testing services within the IT Shared Service center (VISPL) for the domains and / or countries in a Telecommunications environment ensuring platforms, services and components are tested to agreed milestones, cost and quality. Prepare test plans, and test scripts as well as execute Performance tests to the agreed standards, timelines and service levels. Ensure a common approach & standards are followed for testing. Capture lessons learnt and best practice to improve the test methodology and approach. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate proven experience of delivering Performance software testing solutions onshore and offshore in a multi-national global environment. Planning and execution of Testing activities: Responsible for understanding the Telecom technology stack, delivery approach and strategic initiative, in order to define appropriate test strategies and approaches in the Cloud, Siebel, CRM, BRM or Middleware domains. Deliver projects in the testing space and ensure delivery efficiency. Individual filling this role will be required to establish dynamic scripts and scenarios, execute and coordinate performance tests, analyze the results and communicate to stakeholders and multi-vendors. Ensure to follow the defined metrics, practices, process, reports issues and tools to ensure delivery is managed. Implement steps to improve test automation levels. Define best practices and improvement ideas to drive efficiency and continuous improvement. Responsible for developing the NFT test strategy ensuring it is updated and based lined to reflect changes to the project risk profile, schedule, testing processes etc. Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of performance testing. Ensure quality and accuracy of the test deliverables. Devise ways for promoting reusability of Test Assets like Scripts, Input Data Set etc. for non-functional testing across the projects Technical Competency: Demonstrate ability to test custom services using load generating tools (ie Load runner, JMeter, SOAP UI) across multiple protocols. Experience working in CI/CD environments and cloud-based infrastructures and applications. Demonstrate experience in performance test scripting and executing test scripts. Ability to analyze NFR’s, volumetric Analysis. Should have knowledge of C, java, VB macros , Basic of SQL, shell scripts for customizing scripts and innovative automation process. Understanding of JAVA/JVM architecture, JVM, GC, Class loading, Thread dump, DB (oracle and SQL server) analysis. Knowledge of monitoring, profiling for app stack using APM tools such as HP Diagnostics/ CA Wily/ Dynatrace/ AppDynamics etc and in-depth analysis of server & application metric data. Able to accurately analyze performance test results and highlight issues in both technical and business language. Experience in supporting tool such as fiddler, firebug, HAR, Lighthouse with be added advantage.
