The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between disciplinary content and pedagogical practices, preparing the next generation of educators in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and NCTE standards.About the RoleThe MIT School of Education and Research is seeking a dedicated and scholarly Assistant Professor to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between disciplinary content and pedagogical practices, preparing the next generation of educators in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and NCTE standards.ResponsibilitiesAcademic Delivery & Pedagogy Conduct high-quality lectures and practical sessions for B.Ed. students in specialized subjects (Political Science / English / Commerce).Employ innovative teaching-learning methodologies, including ICT-enabled tools and digital pedagogy.Facilitate /"Content-cum-Methodology/" sessions to help student-teachers master both subject matter and teaching techniques.Mentorship & Supervision Supervise and guide student-teachers during their School Internship and field engagement modules.Mentor students in preparing lesson plans, teaching aids, and conducting action research.Provide academic and career counseling to students.Research & Innovation Engage in active research in the field of Education or the concerned subject.Publish research papers in UGC-CARE listed, Scopus, or peer-reviewed journals.Participate in and organize national/international conferences and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs).Institutional Contribution Contribute to departmental administrative tasks, including NAAC/NIRF documentation and accreditation processes.Assist in curriculum development and updating modules as per university and NCTE guidelines.Support the organization of co-curricular and community outreach activities.
