Position: Assistant TeacherLocation: Pune, Maharashtra, Koregaon ParkType: Full-time, On-siteRole OverviewAt Windsor House Early Years, the Assistant Teacher plays a vital supporting role in delivering a warm, engaging, and enriching learning experience for young children aged 3 to 5 years. Working closely under the guidance of the Head Teacher, the Assistant Teacher supports the execution of the curriculum, ensures a safe and nurturing environment, and helps build the foundational skills essential for lifelong learning.Key Responsibilities- Child-Centered Teaching & Learning Support Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences across multiple domains. - Facilitate activities that nurture creativity, social-emotional development, and age-appropriate independence. - Support children during circle time, story sessions, thematic play, and structured activities.Qualifications & Background- Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Montessori, or any equivalent pre-primary teacher training certification is required. - 1–3 years of classroom experience in a preschool or early years setting preferred. - Basic knowledge of child development principles and inclusive classroom practices. - Fluency in English is essential; strong spoken communication skills are a must. - Comfort with using simple tech tools for planning and communication is an advantage.Key Traits & Competencies- A genuine love for working with young children and nurturing their curiosity. - Warm, compassionate, and patient in interactions with children and adults alike. - High energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to make learning joyful and meaningful. - Strong observational and listening skills. - Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude. - Willingness to learn and grow through coaching and continuous development.
