Overseas Education Counsellor

A leading overseas education consultancy, Study Smart, is inviting applications for the role of Study Abroad Counsellor across multiple locations in India.About the Organisation:Study Smart works with 300+ global universities across the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Germany, Singapore, and Malaysia. With offices in Pune, Delhi, Nashik, Kolhapur, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and more, the organisation supports students through their complete study-abroad journey.Role Overview:The counsellor will manage the end-to-end student counselling process—career guidance, university/course shortlisting, application submissions, visa assistance, and post-admission support.Key Responsibilities:- Counsel and convert leads into student enrollments - Guide students on university and course options - Assist with SOPs, CVs, LORs, and documentation - Manage applications and coordinate with universities - Provide visa counselling and scholarship guidance - Maintain CRM records and follow-ups - Participate in education fairs and events - Promote value-added services (loans, forex, accommodation, etc.)Qualifications:- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree - 1–3 years of experience in education counselling/admissions (mandatory) - Knowledge of IELTS/TOEFL - Expertise in at least two destination countries (UK/USA/Australia/NZ/Germany/Dubai/Ireland)Skills Required:- Strong communication (verbal & written) - Good understanding of application & visa processes - Organised, detail-oriented, and target-driven - Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office & digital communication - Empathetic and student-focused approachWhy Join:- Exposure to global universities - Strong learning and career growth opportunities - Supportive work culture - Opportunity to make an impact on students’ futures
