Job Description – Music Teacher (Piano) Position: Music Teacher – Piano Location: Pune Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time About Us BodhiTree School of Music, based in Pune, is dedicated to providing high-quality music education that inspires and nurtures creativity in every student. We are looking for passionate and skilled music teachers who can guide students on their musical journey with professionalism and care. Role & Responsibilities Teach piano lessons to students across different age groups and skill levels (beginners to advanced). Prepare lesson plans aligned with international music education standards. Train students for examinations (Trinity College, ABRSM, Rock & Pop) and performances. Foster a positive, engaging, and encouraging learning environment. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Coordinate with parents/counselors regarding student performance and development. Participate in school concerts, recitals, and events as required. Required Qualifications Minimum Grade 8 certification in Piano (Trinity/ABRSM/Equivalent). Strong theoretical knowledge (music theory, sight-reading, staff notation). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for teaching and ability to motivate students. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching in a structured music school or academy. Ability to teach additional instruments or group lessons will be an added advantage. Performance experience in solo or ensemble settings.
