Admission Counselor

Job description An Admission Counselor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the enrollment process by offering personalized advice on courses, programs, and admissions procedures. This role requires a blend of strong communication, sales, and customer service skills, with an emphasis on achieving enrollment targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation and Follow-up: Contact prospective students via phone, email, and other channels to inform them about available programs, courses, and admissions processes. Maintain a pipeline of leads and track follow-up actions to move prospects through the sales funnel. Qualify leads based on their interest, eligibility, and potential for enrollment. Counseling and Admissions Support: Provide expert guidance on program details, career paths, prerequisites, and admissions requirements. Assist prospective students with the application process, ensuring that all required documents are submitted accurately and on time. Address queries regarding program content, financial aid, scholarships, and any other concerns regarding enrollment. Sales and Conversion: Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas for student enrollment and conversion rates. Persuasively promote the institution’s offerings, addressing any objections or concerns potential students may have. Keep records of interactions with leads and students in the CRM system to track their status and follow-up actions.
