The role requires strong hands-on development skills, deep knowledge of accessibility standards, and the ability to mentor and guide a team to deliver inclusive digital experiences.Key Responsibilities:Lead a team of Accessibility Developers and drive best practicesDesign and develop accessible UI components for web applicationsEnsure compliance with WCAG 2.1 / 2.2 standardsImplement and validate ARIA roles, states, and propertiesReview code for accessibility compliance and semantic correctnessCollaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure accessible designsWork closely with QA teams to support accessibility testing and auditsGuide developers in fixing accessibility defectsConduct accessibility reviews, training, and knowledge sessionsParticipate in client discussions and accessibility assessmentsRequired Skills & Qualifications:4–8 years of experience in Frontend / Accessibility Development1+ years of experience in a Team Lead roleStrong hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScriptExpertise in WCAG guidelinesStrong knowledge of ARIAHands-on experience with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS)Experience building accessible components using React / Angular / VueGood understanding of cross-browser and assistive technology behaviorStrong communication and mentoring skillsGood to Have:Experience with accessibility automation tools (axe-core, Lighthouse)Mobile accessibility experience (iOS / Android)Accessibility certifications (IAAP CPACC / WAS)Experience working with design systems
