Job Title: Sr. Manager – Cataract AccountFunction: SalesReports To: Regional ManagerWork Location: Pune, MumbaiExperience Required: 8–10 years (Ophthalmology / IOL Sales experience is mandatory )Role Overview:The Sr. Manager – Cataract Account will be responsible for driving business development and sales growth within the cataract portfolio. The role focuses on achieving short- and long-term business objectives, expanding market share, and maintaining regional margin expectations.This position will play a key role in developing and executing business and marketing plans, ensuring strong alignment between sales and marketing efforts.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive achievement of sales and business targets aligned with approved business and marketing plansProactively identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunitiesCollaborate closely with Corporate Marketing to execute growth-focused strategiesBuild and strengthen relationships with key strategic customers to drive sustainable growthRepresent the organization at conferences, industry events, and business forumsDevelop market development and strategy plans, including proposals, presentations, and contractsMaintain strong product knowledge and updated sales materialsPrepare and share regular sales, activity, and performance reportsCommunicate market feedback, new opportunities, and competitive insights to leadershipPlan and manage sales and expense budgets in alignment with organizational guidelinesEnsure timely collections within defined credit periodsCoordinate product deliveries and shipping schedulesUndertake additional responsibilities as requiredExperience & Qualifications8–10 years of proven sales experience in ophthalmology (IOL experience is mandatory )Strong understanding of business practices within the ophthalmology segmentDemonstrated leadership, negotiation, and influencing skillsHigh level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detailEducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in OphthalmologyTravelTravel as per business requirementsIf you’re impact-driven, customer-focused, and ready to take on a leadership role in a growing organization, we’d love to connect.
